By BONNIE STACY

A large crowd attended a going away party for Berry and Brenda Farless at the Senior Center in Woodbury on Saturday. Due to poor health, they have moved to Bedford County to be near their son, Randy, and wife. Best wishes to them.

Jack and Jane Vickers from Huntsville, Alabama, spent Sunday night and Monday with Jane's sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Hue Bob Bailey.

My sympathy goes to the families of Don Jones and Billy King that recently passed away. Also to the family of Amon Pack, who passed away. His sisters, Virginia Hayes and Georgia Brandon, live in Cannon County. Get well wishes to all.

Children need strength to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, and an example to learn from.

Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye. Time heals grief and love prevents scar tissue. If you are given stones, build a bridge instead of a wall.
