Lions Club Tour Of Homes: A Big Success

Dec 10, 2009 at 05:06 am by admin

Saturday evening December 5, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. Cathy Crabtree, Raycell and Robert Wimberly, Donald and Cortilla Fann, Brad and Laurie Smithson, Mildred Paschal's barn, Readyville Mill / Tomm and Martha Brady, David and Sharon White, Mark and Pat Weilands, and Junior and Paula Brandon, opened their places and welcomed guests to enjoy refreshments and take a tour of their place. It was a great evening. Christmas spirit was in the air. The Home Visits (Tour of Homes) is a great annual event. Each place was different, yet all were inviting. Making everyone happy that they came. The Lions Club this year will make a $1,000 from the Home Visits. The Lions Club thanks everyone for buying tickets and especially to those who opened their places. They did such a great deed for the community. Bill Smith said there are two kinds of people in the world: The ones you like and the ones you don't know. The Home Visit Committee is made up of: Sue Patrick, Nolan Northcutt, Kitty Bush, Lois Larimer, Carl Hirlston, Barbara Parker, Kim Mullen, Glenda Vance and Bill Smith.
