Driver, Two Passengers Charged After Traffic Stop

Three Smithville men were charged with alcohol-related offenses on June 24 by Woodbury Patrol Patrolman John House.

Martin Perez,235 Banks Pisgahy Rd., Smithville, was charged with Driving While Impaired following a traffic stop of a 1999 black Ford F-150 onMcMinnville Hwy.

Ricardo Hernandez, 386 S. Judkins Lane Lot#3, Smithville, and Juan D. Carillo Perez, 447 Talley Rd., Smithville, were both charged with violation of the 18-20 Consumption Law. He was found to allegedly be under the influence of an intoxicant.

A search of the vehicle produced several empty and unopened beer cans. Release citations was issued to all three men. Their initial court dates are July 24.
