Woodbury's downtown area is beginning to shows signs of the upcoming holidays, with merchants and government offices adding seasonal decorations and signs, including the Cannon County Courthouse. The Historic Cannon County Chamber of Commerce kicks off the holiday season with two days of special shopping opportunities and other activities. The annual Cannon County Country Christmas takes place Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21. Woodbury’s historic square will be decked out for the holidays, and merchants will be offering refreshments to those who visit their stores. Parents will also get a chance for children to talk with and have their photos made with Santa Claus.
