Early voting continues this week for the March 6 Presidential Preference Primary and the Cannon County Republican Primary.

Early voting is held at the Cannon County Election Commission Office in the Adams Office Building on West Main St. Voters should enter the Election Commission Office through the Tatum Street entrance.

Remaining dates and times for Early Voting are Feb. 21, 22, 24, 27, 28 (on these dates the time will be 9:30-12:30 p.m.). Late voting time and date is this Thursday, Feb. 23, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. This coming Saturday (Feb. 25) the time will be 9:00-12:00 p.m.

Unofficial tallies for early voting and absentee ballot voting in Cannon County and across the state are being posted to the Tennessee Secretary of State’s Web site. The Web address is http://www.tn.gov/sos/election/data/turnout/20120306.htm.

Results are posted the next business day following weekends and holidays.
