District 8-AA champions the Cannon County Lions (6-4 overall) go up against District 11's Harpeth Indians (5-5 overall) Friday night at 7 in the opening round of the TSSAA Playoffs at Cannon County High School. The Lions conducted practice for their first playoff game in 14 years Tuesday afternoon at Fred Schwartz Field. In addition to going to the game Friday, Cannon County fans can show their support for the Lions Thursday night be attending a pep rally at the Cannon County Courthouse.
