The Woodbury Police Dept. and the Cannon County Sheriff's Department will be conducting Safety and Sobriety Checkpoints on Friday, Dec. 23.

The checkpoints will be located on Highway 53 and Highway 70.

The checkpoints are being done in conjunction with the Governor’s Booze It & Lose It campaign.

Officers working the checkpoints are paid from grant funds provided by the Governor's Highway Safety Office.

It is our goal to keep the streets and highways of Woodbury and Cannon County safe throughout the holidays.
