Larry Carter Lawson, 70, of Eagleville, TN, passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2026, following a long battle with cancer. He had family by his side. Larry was born on September 5, 1955, in Lafollette, TN. He spent his life working in maintenance and was proud to be a veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Larry is survived by his children, Reina Stoner (John); Rachael Woods (Jeremy); Pamela Floyd (Jimmy); & Heather Burns (Michael); 15 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; his brother, Edward Harrison Lawson (Lisa); his step-sister, Sherry Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harrison Lawson (and step-mother Marie Haley Lawson); Mother, Helen Lois McNeil Erb (and step-father Donald Erb, whom he affectionately called “Little Dad”); and brothers James Eugene Lawson and Ronald Lynn Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Gentry-Smith Funeral Home in Woodbury, TN from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, immediately followed by a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery, where his pastor, Brother Kris Casebolt, will be speaking.
