Connie Jean Phelps Brown, 76, passed away at her home in Woodbury Saturday, February 14, 2026. Born in Coffee Co., she was the daughter of the late, Brady and Mary Blackman Phelps. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ray Brown who passed away August 24, 2025.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Davis of Manchester and Jennifer (Sam) Morris of Woodbury; grandchildren, Dalton (Keragan) Morris of Morrison, Emily Morris (Nick Phillips) of Woodbury, Trent Jones of Murfreesboro and Trey Jones of Manchester; sisters, Shirley (Stan) Littlefield of Altamont Springs, FL. and Susie McEacharn of Manchester and uncle, Clarence Phelps of Manchester. 5 great grandchildren also survive.
A member of the Pleasant View Baptist church, Connie was a retired loan processor. During her time in banking, she worked for Bank of Commerce and for First National Bank of Woodbury. She loved to read, collect red birds and anything that involved Elvis Presley. Most of all, she was an adoring grandmother and loved spending time making memories with her family.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens cemetery. Pallbearers include, Dalton Morris, Nick Phillips, Shawn Gunter, Chris Brown, Chris Alexander and Brian Hill. Honorary pallbearers, Aidan McClure and Briley Jones.
