Mrs. Brenda Sue Carver Burns, age 72, passed away Sunday January 18, 2026 following an extended illness. She was a native of Wilson County and lived in Auburntown. She was the daughter of the late Peyton Carver and Lula Belle Bennett Scott.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Bobby Burns of Auburntown; 3 children, Tracey Lynn (Keith) Hannah, Mike Warpole and David Warpole all of Lebanon, and her siblings Kathy (David) Page and Ted Carver both of Mt. Juliet. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews..
Mrs. Brenda was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was an extremely loving wife mother and a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and flowers.
Funeral services will 2:00 PM Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Prosperity Baptist Church with Bro. David Moody officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
