The national average price of diesel has increased 0.8 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.777 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Nashville was priced at $2.22/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.24/g, a difference of $1.02/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $2.22/g while the highest was $3.69/g, a difference of $1.47/g.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged in the last week, averaging $3.03/g today. The national average is down 2.0 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 2.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

While Washington and Oregon may still see issues related to the Olympic pipeline shutdown, the broader outlook is promising— especially with oil prices dipping below $60 per barrel. Many states could begin to see further declines in the weeks ahead, just in time for the holidays.”
