William R. New, III, 84, of Knoxville passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William R. New, II and Vinny L. New. A graveside committal service will be held at Riverside Cemetery on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11 am. Pastor Carl Grosse will officiate. Gentry-Smith Funeral Home, 303 Murfreesboro Road, Woodbury, TN 37190 is in charge of local arrangements.
