The Cannon County Lionettes Soccer team traveled to Lafayette to meet Macon County in the season opener for both teams. Macon County won 10-1. Lionettes will have a week to prepare for their next opponent in Smith County. Game is scheduled for August 22nd in Carthage.

The Cannon County Lionettes Volleyball team will host Warren County in a set of matches today. Lionettes were supposed to play Coffee County Monday night but the games were cancelled due to a water main which broke at Coffee County High School.
Tonight's activities will begin at 5:30 with the Junior Varsity. The Varsity will play after the J.V. Game.
