A free day of fun for families and individuals of all ages is planned April 10 at Edgar Evins State Park near Smithville, sponsored by Friends of Edgar Evins State Park and park employees. There will be birds, butterflies, and wildflower identification walks, live entertainment, living history demonstrations, organized games for children, hands-on crafts making, pontoon boat rides for children over 3 accompanied by an adult, and much more.
