Cannon County Schools Director William F. Curtis announced on Friday that Cannon County High School Principal Mike Jones has resigned and will not be returning for the 2018 - 2019 School Year.

Mr. Jones's contract will expire on June 30th, 2018.

Curtis stated, "The Cannon County School System would like to thank Mr. Jones for his five years of service to Cannon County High School."

The search for a new principal has begun and applications are available on the Cannon County School Website at ccstn.net.

Director Curtis stated, "We are seeking a strong innovative instructional leader who can move Cannon County High School forward who will take office on July 1st, 2018." Cannon County Schools are committed to be E3 = "Engaged in Educational Excellence."
