Jo Ann Hughes Nichols, 73, who passed away Saturday, 02/28/15 at Woodbury Health Care.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years: W.R. Nichols of Woodbury; Daughters: Arlene Wilson (Dewey Barrett) of Woodbury and Julie Fitts (David Speakman) of Smithville; Grandchildren: Jennifer Keomanivong, Andrea Davenport, Dana Davenport, Derrick Fitts, Jeffery "Bubba" Nichols and Dustin Nichols; Great Grandchildren: Kelvin & Jocelyn Keomanivong, Braxton Carter, Karlee Gladden and Natalie Nichols; Siblings: J.B. Hughes of Warren Co. and J.C. Hughes of Auburntown and Sister, Innette Gunter of Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clyde & Anna Belle Bogle Hughes and son, Jeffery William Nichols.

Jo Ann loved spending time with her family, cooking, camping and fishing. Before she retired, she worked for Dekalb Telephone where she cleaned offices. She was a member of the Woodbury First Baptist.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Van Nichols & Bro. Bobby Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 pm to 9 pm Friday, March 06, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toWoodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
