The Cannon County Commission recognized three citizens and public servants for their years of service to the county Saturday during its quarterly meeting. Robert "Hoppy" Davenport was honored for his over 30 years of work as Circuit Court Clerk. Davenport retired last Friday. Donna Nichols was saluted for her 44 years of dedication to the Department of Child Services. Brad Hall was thanked for serving on the Cannon County Commission for over three years prior to resigning his 5th District Commission seat because he had moved out of the district.
