Arrests Made For DUI, Domestic Assault

Two men were charged with DUI and one man was arrested on domestic assault charges recently.

• Robert W. Griffin, 691 Joe Daniel Rd., Bradyvlle, was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license on Feb. 27 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Neal.

Deputy Neal was dispatched to John Bragg Hwy. on that date on a report of a van sitting on the side of the highway. Upon arrival he observed Robert Griffin leaving the driver’s seat of the van and walking in the direction of Parsley’s Market.

The deputy went to Parsley’s Market and spoke with Griffin, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Griffin had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. He was unable to follow instructions or perform field sobriety tests. Griffin stated he had been driving the van and had run out of gas. He said he had been drinking, and had had two to three beers.

Griffin was transported to Stones River Hospital for a blood alcohol test and then to the Cannon County Jail for booking. Bond was set at $6,500. Initial court date is April 5.

• Flint Wilson Gilley, 1745 Bethal Rd., Smithville, was charged with DUI, 3rd offense, on Jan. 11 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Gullett. Gilley’s vehicle was observed traveling eastbound on John Bragg Hwy. in the middle of both lanes of travel. The vehicle then crossed over to the left travel lane and then back to the right. After the vehicle was stopped, Gilley failed the field sobriety tests administered by Deputy Gullett. Bond was set at $5,000. Gilley’s case is pending in Cannon County General Sessions Court.

• Eric Daniel Bogle, 389 Sugar Tree Knob, Liberty, was charged with domestic assault and child abuse on Feb. 25 following an investigation by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Neal of an incident which allegedly occurred on Feb. 19. Bond was set at $20,000. Initial court date is April 5.

• Robert Michael Lundregan, 1033 Akers Rd., McMinnville, was charged with driving on a suspended license, expired tags and violation of the financial responsibility law on Feb. 27 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Neal following a traffic stop on John Bragg Hwy. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 5.

• Alexander Debenedict Robinson, 220 Reelfoot Court, Murfreesboro, was charged with driving on a suspended license on Feb. 27 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Neal following a traffic stop on John Bragg Hwy. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 5.

• Meri Allen Harris, 1306 Eagle St., Apt. E8, Murfreesboro, was charged with driving without registration and violation of the financial responsibility law on Feb. 23 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Parsley following a traffic stop on John Bragg Hwy. Initial court date is April 5.

• Brian Ingram, 320 Hayes St., Woodbury, was charged with no driver’s license on Feb. 27 by Woodbuy Assistant Chief Kevin Mooneyham following a traffic stop on East High St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is March 22.

• Susan A. Blair, 7248 Hurricane Creek Rd., Auburntown, was charged with filing a false report on Feb. 28l. Blair allegedly told Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Barker on Feb. 15 that David Seiber took her vehicle without her consent. Blair stated that they had been arguing when Seiber left the residence in her vehicle. On Feb. 19, Blair stated to Cannon County Sheriff Young that Seiber did not take her vehicle because he was with her the whole time. Initial court date is April 9.
