Arrest Made In Theft Of Antique Farm Tools

Thomas Wade Reed, 7553 Hollow Springs Rd., Bradyville, was charged with Criminal Trespass and Theft Over $1,000 on Oct. 31 by Cannon County Sheriff's Investigator Anthony Young.

It is alleged that on Oct. 28, Reed stole a number of antique farm implements from a local residence. A truck matching the description of one owned by Reed was seen in the area.

Investigator Young received information Reed had salvaged the items at a local salvage yard.

Total value of the items, which included tin, fencing, a mowing machine and stock panels, was estimated at $1,920.

Bond was set at $11,000. Initial court date is Dec. 6.
