On Saturday, December 19 at approximately 5:30 a.m. the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department was called to 4090 Jim Cummings Highway for an EMS assist.

Deputy Patrick Fann was the first officer on the scene and found two women (Lisa Hallmon and Kim Phillips) standing outside the residence. They told Deputy Fann that Jesse Paul Frazier, Sr., 46, was unresponsive and lying on the floor of the kitchen.

The Cannon County Ambulance Service performed CPR on Mr. Frazier but preliminary tests showed he was deceased.

County Coroner Dr. Leon Reuhland, Sheriff Billy Nichols and Sheriff’s Investigator Charlie Wilder responded to assist and process the scene. Several empty whiskey bottles and beer cans were found during the course of the investigation.

Investigator Wilder talked with the two females and Collin Hanson who was also living at the residence. Frazier was then transported to Stones River Hospital for blood alcohol tests which revealed he had a B.A.C. of .40.
