Burglary
A 9-mm Makarov pistol and a Chinese SKS rifle, both valued at $900, were taken during a burglary on Dug Hollow Road. Entry was gained by kicking open the back door.
Possession of a Weapon
Eric Daniel Bogle was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon following a home visit by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and the Cannon County Sheriff's Department. A Colt 45 and a Ruger 22-caliber pistol were found in an air vent at his home. The Colt 45 had been reported as stolen in 2000 in Cannon County.
Domestic Assault
Aaron Glen St. John was charged with simple assault, destruction of property and drunkenness following an incident. A hearing is set for August 2 in General Sessions Court.
