Cannon County has been blessed with many persons of Hall of Fame caliber and character through the decades.
Hundreds of horses and their riders strode through Woodbury on Saturday, May 28 during the annual Memorial Day Trail Ride sponsored by the Cannon County Walking Horse Assoc.
The sealed indictments returned by the Cannon County Grand Jury on May 20 have been served and two men are in jail.
Seniors at Cannon County High School crossed the stage and received their diplomas during graduation for the Class of 2011 at Schwartz Field Friday (May 27).
When complaints surfaced about a grandson’s possible abuse, a caring grandparent sought guidance from the Child Advocacy Center.
The Cannon County Library System was recently awarded a state grant.
