 Services for Darrell Higgins, 39, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Woodbury Church of Christ. Bro. Charles Williams, Bro. Nicky Nichols and Bro. Joey Ferrell will officiate.

 Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Woodbury Funeral Home.

 Mr. Higgins died Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Stones River Hospital. Born in Rutherford County, he had lived in Cannon County all his life.

 Survivors include his mother, Barbara Williams Higgins of Woodbury; two sisters, Dena and Harold Douglas of Woodbury and Darla and Jesse Cunningham of Milton; grandmothers, Lou Davis Higgins and Maymie Williams, both of Woodbury; nephews and niece, Jason and Blake Douglas, Brady and Briley Cunningham; uncles and aunts, Jimmy and Connie Higgins, Glenn and Judy Higgins, Steve and Karen Higgins, Adron and Billie Williams, all of Woodbury.

 He was preceded in death by his dad, David Higgins; grandfathers, Brady Higgins and Earl Williams.

 Darrell was a member of the Cannon County Rook Club and theChurchofChrist. He loved life, his family and his friends. Everyone who knew him loved him and he loved them. He was always laughing and kidding with everyone.

 Interment will be in Higgins Family Cemetery.

Tommy, Tim, Ted and Clint Higgins; Jesse and Brady Cunningham; Harold, Jason and Blake Douglas will serve as pallbearers.

So sorry to hear of Darrell's death. Everytime I saw him he was happy and made you feel that way. I know he will be missed by his family. My heart goes out to Lou, God Bless you in this time of sorrow.

I have been friends with this family for so long. Darrell was a wonderful person, and was tickled whenever he saw me, always asking how things were going and how the kids were. He always had me laughing and I enjoyed being around him. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to my best friend Deana and her family.
