Frostbite Half Marathon Lives Up To Its Name
Seven CCHS Cross Country runners and two coaches ran in brutal conditions of 25 degrees and 25 mph winds in the 13.1 mile Cedars of Lebanon Frostbite Half Marathon Saturday.

Four of the last five miles were directly into the wind. The Frostbite is part of the Tennessee State Park Running tour that the team is using as a winter running conditioning program.

The tour ends March 4 at Fall Creek Falls with a nine mile race through the park.

Frostbite CCHS racers included T.J. Paul (2:01), Brian Elrod (1:30), Wesley Alexander (2:02), Hannah Faulkner (1:48 & 1st in her division), Jordan Turney (1:38, 4th in his division), Umar Rasul (2:14), C.J. Hatfield (2:05), Lauren Turney (2:15, 4th in her division) and Marc Larson (1:55).
