Two men who were arrested during a traffic stop in December pled guilty Tuesday in Cannon County General Sessions Court to charges of simple possession of marijuana.

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Mildred Juanita Davenport Martin, age 77, was born July 21, 1933 and died February 5, 2011 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Due to a water main break in the Locke Creek bridge area, West Side School students (Pre K-8) will be dismissing at 10:30 A.M. today, according to Barbara Parker, Director of Cannon County Schools. Buses will run at normal time for high school students in the West Side area.

Katie Hoskins was hoping for a rematch with her older brother, Jake, in the finals of the 2011 Cannon County Spelling Bee, held at East Side Elementary School Thursday (Feb. 3).
