Officer Catches Fleeing Man After Citizens Point Way

Onlookers pointed in the direction a wanted man was fleeing, enabling a police officer to successfully chase him down on Oct. 26.

Timothy D. Meeks, 317 S. Dillon St., Woodbury, was charged with evading arrest by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire.

Meeks, after seeing Officer Fesmire drive past him, allegedly took off running. A warrants check showed an active one locally for Meeks.

Knowing Meeks to live at the corner of S. Dillon and Parker streets, Officer Fesmire turned on to Parker to local him. Citizens were pointing toward the South. Meeks was apprehended on Terrance Lane.

Bond was set at $1,500. Initial court date is Dec. 20.
