Football fans preparing to return to Floyd Stadium this season will notice a few changes as they get ready to cheer on the Blue and White. The Blue Raiders get the 2021 season started this Saturday at 6 PM against Monmouth.

Fans attending games in 2021 should be aware of the following, while also self-policing social distancing at concession stands and entering and exiting the stadium.

Tailgating
Parking lots around Floyd Stadium will open at 7 a.m. on game days. Tailgating rules and guidelines will return to pre-COVID policies that were in place in 2019.

Fireworks
To celebrate the return of fans to a full capacity Floyd Stadium, MT will have a post-game fireworks show following the season opener vs. Monmouth on Saturday. The 6 p.m. kickoff will give Blue Raider fans the opportunity to celebrate the return of all of these MT Football traditions with a spectacular finale to open the season!

Mask Policy
In compliance with current MTSU policy, all faculty, staff, students and visitors are required to wear masks indoors at all campus buildings. This policy includes fans at Floyd Stadium. Fans at Blue Raider football home games are required to wear masks or facial coverings, which cover both their nose and mouth, in indoor locations, unless actively eating or drinking. These locations include, but are not limited to: the Hendrix Club, Sky Suites, working press level, elevators (number of persons will be restricted), first-aid room and restrooms. In the outdoor environment, fans are not required to wear face coverings or masks, although the CDC does recommend mask wearing in large gatherings.

Sky Suites and Stadium Club
Additional information will be emailed this week to Sky Suite and Jeff Hendrix Stadium Club members regarding ingress/egress and additional protocols.

Raider Walk
Raider Walk returns in 2021, going through Walnut Grove and into Floyd Stadium. Fans are encouraged to cheer on the Blue Raiders during the walk, but physical contact with the team will be prohibited.

Band of Blue
Middle Tennessee's Band of Blue, the largest student organization on campus with over 350 members, will once again be performing at Floyd Stadium and enhancing the game day atmosphere. In order to provide social distancing among the group, the athletic department will spread the band out in a larger area inside Floyd Stadium.

Mobile Ticketing
The Blue Raider Athletic Ticket Office launched mobile-only ticketing with the 2020 football season at Floyd Stadium and it will continue in 2021. The move to digital ticketing provides a greater convenience to fans, contactless entry into the stadium, and improved health and safety measures for all Blue Raider fans. Blue Raider season ticket holders will no longer receive a printed season ticket booklet, and will receive their tickets via mobile delivery.

The move to digital tickets will not only reduce contact at the gates, but will also provide more control on how fans access their tickets, as well as the ability to transfer tickets to friends and family.

To access your tickets you will receive an email with the Blue Raider Digital Ticketing Guide, a detailed and convenient step-by-step tutorial to add your tickets directly to your smartphone. The email will also include screen shots to act as a visual guide. The following steps will allow fans to access their mobile tickets:

· Login to your "My Account" from the Blue Raider Athletics with your email and password
· Select MANAGE TICKETS, then tap SELECT EVENT for the game you wish you access, then tap the seats for that game to view the barcode
· Add each ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Play prior to arrival at Floyd Stadium. This allows for easier mobile entry into the venue

The Blue Raider "My Account" is your home to view tickets, transfer tickets to friends and family, pay invoices, purchase additional tickets and update your account information.
