Middle School Football Tonight And Other Sports Schedules

The Cannon County Lions Middle School football team looks to rebound from a disappointing 30-12 loss when they host the Liberty Patriots from Bedford County. Cannon is 1-2 on the season and will be playing at home on Fred Schwartz Field tonight. Kickoff is scheduled to begin at 7:00 after the high school soccer game.

The Cannon County Lionettes scored their first goal of the season Tuesday in a home match against MTCS despite losing 7-1. The 0-4 Lionettes host Jackson County in the second straight home game and start time will be moved up one hour early to 5:00 to allow plenty of time to play before the Middle School football game.

The Cannon County Golf teams travel to play Monterey. The Lions and Lionettes have three games left on their regular season schedule which concludes September 12th.

The Cannon County Lionettes travel to meet region opponent Tullahoma tonight in a series of matches with the JV starting at 5:00 followed by the Varsity match.
