Local Connection Playing In Little League World Series Tournament

Beth Stewart Stark played and won a state championship while a member of the Cannon County Lionettes basketball team in 1989. Now her son, Rocco, has the opportunity to play and win a national title on a huge stage at the Little League World Series with opening round play beginning today.
Rocco plays for the Nolensville All-Stars. Much of Middle Tennessee will be tuned in to ESPN beginning at 2:00 this afternoon as the Tennessee team will take on Ohio.
