James "Bo" Harold LaFever, 85, went to be with the Lord Wed., August 23, 2023 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in White Co., the son of the late Eley and Pauline Cason LaFever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alberta Bogle LaFever of Woodbury; sons, Jeff (Donna) LaFever of Murfreesboro, Barry LaFever of Liberty and Terry (Sharon) LaFever of Cabot, AR.; grandchildren, Heather (Cameron) Boyett, Justin LaFever, Josh (Amanda) LaFever, Jamey (Tracy) LaFever, Jason LaFever, Jodie (Jason) Williams, Nick, Danielle, Leah and Preston LaFever; siblings, Helen Rhodes of Rutherfordton, NC., Leon "Ben" (Wilma) LaFever, Nancy (Dannie) Haley and Marie Seabaugh all of Woodbury. 14 great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eley and Pauline Cason LaFever and his siblings, Lynn, Randy, Roger, Richard, Rex and Mary LaFever.

A member of the Middle Tennessee Baptist church, Bo was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Hennessy as a quality inspector. He was passionate about his church and church family, he enjoyed witnessing to people and driving the church bus for many years. In his earlier years, Bo was involved with the Dixie Youth Assoc. and was a Cannon Co. Commissioner. He loved being with his family and making memories.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens cemetery.

Visitation with his family will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023.
