A Nashville home school football program will be traveling to Cannon County High School as the Homecoming opponent for the Lions this evening.
The Tennessee Heat is making a slow transition to 11 man football from 8 man and have contests in both divisions this season with three games on the schedule with the 11 man format.
The learning process continues for the Heat who have many 8th graders on their roster.
Homecoming festivities start at 1:15 with the homecoming parade participants leaving the high school making their way through to the square for the pep rally. You can view the parade live on Cannon Courier News and Events Facebook Page as soon as it comes through town approximately 1:25.
A homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime of the game. The game can be viewed live tonight also on the Courier's Facebook page Cannon Courier News and Events. The stream will be up by 6:50 with the kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
