| WPD Plans Safety And Sobriety Checkpoints Sept. 3-4 |

| The Woodbury Police Dept. will be conducting safety and sobriety checkpoints on Friday and Saturday September 3rd and 4th. The checkpoints will be on US 70 and State Highway 53. These checkpoints will be held in conjunction with the Tennessee’s “Booze It Lose It” campaign. Officers will be paid from grant funds obtained from the Governor’s Highway Safety Office. The Woodbury Police Dept. will strive to make the streets and highways a safe place for those traveling during the Labor Day weekend. |
