VOP Warrants Served On Three

The following persons were recently served arrest warrants by officers of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department.

• Charles Scott Parker, 923 Mingle Rd., Woodbury, was served a Violation of Probation warrant on Jan. 11. Parker was convicted on Aug. 23, 2011, of Simple Assault and placed on probation from that date until Aug. 20, 2012. Parker allegedly violated the conditions of his probation by failing to abstain from illegal drug use by testing positive for marijuana and opiates on Nov. 23, 2011 and by failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed by the court. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Jan. 31.

• Vickie Marsh, 2195 Pea Ridge Rd., Liberty, was served a Violation of Probation warrant on Jan. 10. Marsh was convicted of Aggravated Assault and two counts of Assault on July 7. 2011 and was placed on probation for 2 years, 11 months and 29 days. She allegedly violated probation by being arrested on Nov. 11, 2011 for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Exposure, failing to report her arrest immediately to her probation officer, and by failing to “not behave in a manner that poses a threat to others or myself” after throwing a bag believed to contain urine and blood at THP Trooper Donnie Clark. Bond was fixed at $60,000. Initial court date is Feb. 10.

• Shannon Dawn Moody, 7283 Burks Hollow Rd., Christiana, TN, was served a Violation of Probation warrant on Jan. 10. Moody was convicted on July 19, 2011 of Allowing an Unlicensed Driver to Drive and was placed on probation from that date until Jan. 18, 2012. She allegedly violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed, failing to be available for random drug screening as ordered and failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed. Initial court date is Jan. 31.
