*Marilyn Monroe and JFK:
Having been the first Centerfold in Hugh Hefner's first edition of "Playboy" magazine, published December 1953, actress Marilyn Monroe would become America's no. 1 female sex symbol, and would star in movies such as "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Some Like it Hot." It has been written that Monroe also carried on HOT, extramarital affairs with U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy/JFK and JFK's younger brother, Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy/RFK. August 5, 1962, Marilyn Monroe was found dead, at age 36, inside her home in Brentwood (Los Angeles), California, reportedly having succumbed to an overdose of barbiturates. Some say Monroe had been talking too much about her supposed affairs with JFK and RFK? Was her death a "cover-up," a means to eternally silence her and protect the Kennedy family reputation?

*JFK assassination and Parkland Hospital:
When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy/JFK was struck by sniper gunfire in a motorcade in the Dealey Plaza area of Dallas, Texas, November 22, 1963, he was immediately rushed to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he was pronounced dead. Right off, rumors commenced swirling about a "cover-up" having taken place at Parkland Hospital. Allegedly, the cover-up involved everyone from the Secret Service to the FBI to Dallas Police forcing Parkland Hospital medical staff to alter JFK's initial wounds in an attempt to make it appear "something else" happened other than what "really" happened: Did Lee Harvey Oswald, alone, shoot Kennedy? Or was it a conspiracy involving many? (Rent and watch the movie "Parkland.")

*RFK assassination:
Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy/RFK was U.S. Attorney General during JFK's presidency. RFK was a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in the 1968 election. Having attended a political rally at The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California, RFK was mortally wounded June 5, 1968, shot three times, inside The Ambassador Hotel, by a deranged Palestinian man named Sirhan Sirhan. RFK died approximately 26 hours later, June 6, 1968. Some say Sirhan Sirhan wasn't the only shooter, and there's more to the RFK assassination than ever has been released to the public--a "cover-up," maybe?

And I won't even go into any detail about the other Kennedy brother, U.S. Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy (deceased) and the tragedy at Chappaquiddick Island on July 18, 1969, where a young woman named Mary Jo Kopechne drowned in a car driven by Ted Kennedy. You aspiring politicos can look that one up on your own.
However, of all the political cover-ups I've heard of, this one takes the cake, and yes, it involves fur, diamonds, and blood--even transgender deception!

The front-page headline of the September 25, 2014 edition (online) of the "New York Post" read, in part, "Zoo in cover-up." The first sentence of the article following the headline alleged that New York Mayor Bill de Blasio had "blood on his hands!" One might initially think: Maybe de Blasio hid a rival's corpse in a zoo?! My God!
At a press conference in promotion of Ground Hog Day, back on February 2, 2014, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, in front of a large throng of spectators--some socialites wearing diamonds, no doubt--accidently dropped "Staten Island Chuck," a fat, furry groundhog, to the pavement.

The groundhog was found dead inside his/her "enclosure" at the Staten Island Zoo on February 9, 2014, and it was determined he/she died from "acute internal injuries," which probably happened after de Blasio dropped him/her!
