UT-Martin 'Honors' Student From Readyville

Madilyn Peay, of Readyville, was recently one of three students who received the Cunningham Outstanding Freshman Award during the 48th annual Honors Day at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

The Cunningham Outstanding Freshman Award of $2,000 is given to the freshman students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, leadership skills and involvement in campus activities.

The selection is made through the Division of Student Affairs.

 The other recipients were Zach M. Morphis, of Cordova, and Sarah B. Weiss, of Germantown.

Departmental and university-wide scholarships were awarded during the festivities, as well as Outstanding Student Awards from each of UT Martin’s five colleges.
