Turner Gets Into 'Self' Inflicted Trouble

Sherry Lynn Turner, 146 Cudge Road, Morrison, was charged with Simple Possession Of A Controlled Substance on Jan. 21 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Seth Perry.

Deputy Perry along with Deputy Matthew Parsley stopped a red Toyota pickup. The driver, Robert Self, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Turner, who was a passenger, stated that she was on probation. A search found two pills in her left front pocket which were wrapped in plastic from a cigarette pack.

Turner stated the pills were Hydrocodone. She said she had a prescription for them but was unable to produce it.

A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Feb. 7.
