Hello Everyone!! It sure is great to be back home!! I flew out to the state of Oregon and stayed for ten days with my son and his family in Grant's Pass. I used to live out there many years ago and it sure brought back many happy memories. My son and my grandson were both celebrating their birthdays and we certainly had a terrific time. The pine trees and the mountain range surrounding all the towns was a magnificent sight!

But, all in all, our wonderful Tennessee is just as spectacular and I certainly missed all of you! It's nice to get away, but always nice to come home!!

While I was out there, I happened to read a joke about an airplane hitting a lot of turbulence and one engine had gone out. The pilot comes into the cabin and says to the passengers, " I realize that this has been a rough ride for all of you and we are having quite a few complications with the engines and landing gear, so I am going for help!" All the way home, all I could do was think of that joke.

Scary. Also, while we were in the air, the stewardess was telling everyone that there was "no smoking on the plane...no smoking even in the restroom. And, if someone was caught doing that, they would have to 'step outside." Now, that made me laugh.

Anyway, things at the Short Mountain Trading Post are gearing up for another terrific season!! Weather is warming up and tons of new inventory is continually being brought into the barn and loft. You guys are gonna love it!!
Once we start having regular spring days and sunshine, we will be open for business on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I will keep you posted.

We are receiving a lot of phone calls regarding reserving free booth space for our first event of the year. The Spring Fling Flea Market Day is on Saturday, April 5th. Just bring your own table or canopy and all the goodies you can find to sell !! Remember to call me to reserve you spot at 615-464-7824. If I don't answer right away, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible!!

Well, gotta run for now and get busy after my break in Oregon. Have a wonderful week...be safe and love each other.
