The Tennessee Team Pride Flight 15u AAU Girls Basketball team just finished up a very successful season. The team consists of girls from the Middle Tennessee area and locally Emily Sissom, daughter of Gaylon and Suzette Sissom. They are coached by Bryan Hayes formerly of Woodbury and son of Buddy and Virginia Hayes.

The Pride girls completed this summer season with a record of 33-8. They competed in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas. The team finished as State Runner Up and just recently returned from Little Rock Arkansas as National Runner Up.

They played a total of 8 games in 5 days while at nationals and went undefeated until the Championship game against the local team Arkansas Mavericks. Emily led all scorers averaging 16.0 ppg. throughout the tournament.

Emily has played for Team Pride since she was 9 and will be a Junior at CCHS this fall. Bryan has coached Emily's team for the last 3 seasons and has been with the Team Pride organization for 14 years. This was the first National Championship game for both. Hard
work and dedication does pay off. Congratulations to all!
