I hate politics, espcially Woodbury politics, but I just have one thing to add.
Pro-Choice is just that..a choice. No one has the right to tell others what to do with their bodies, and saying that they must have a child they may not want is dictatorship over that person. I happen to advocate adoption, though I am pro-choice, but the fact is if people make abotion illegal we will have a large number of deaths due to "back alley abortions."
No matter where you go you will always have scared girls who become pregnant, and out of fear will do drastic things. They may be kicked out of their home if their parents find out about the pregnancy and those desperate girls will be willing to go to any nut job saying he can take care of the problem for a price.
If you are advocating Pro-Life I expect, as I would of anyone, to see plans drawn up of shelters for girls and women to go to when they are scared and kicked out of their homes due to the pregnancy. We need adoption agencies set up so these babies can have a chance, and work programs set up for the mothers so if they chose to keep the child they have some form of income.

Ronald Reagan once said: "I have noticed that the people who are pro-choice or for abortion rights are people who have already been born." nothing else needs to be said.

Take back America from who? The banks and billionaires who want the tax cuts to remain?
The banks and bilionaires who are spending almost half a billion in anonymous campaign donation to smear and create more fear thanks to the recent Citizens United Supreme Court decision which declared that corporations are people too?
Your free market capitalism is what got us into this mess in the first place, with no financial oversight of banks and a bailout given to our country by REPUBLICANT George W Bush.
Hate "socialism" and government? Then no usage of Medicare, Social Security, interstate hghways, airports, bridges for you!
I'll take my hope and change over your fear and smear, thanks!

Please read Mr. Studd’s letter carefully.
First off, patriotism–military and liberty; then religion–prayer; then morality–babies lives snuffed out; more religion–Judeo/Christian/Biblical Family values & standards, Creator God and then the dreaded words: Socialism and Liberalism.
The inference drawn:
If you are a liberal, especially a Liberal Democrat, this stratum or class of society, believing that a woman should have the right over her own body; believing that children and adults with pre-existing conditions should be allowed insurance coverage and once on, should not be dropped from the roles; believing that the civil rights of marriage should be proffered to dedicated same sex couples and not just heterosexual couples: believing that the 1st Amendment does, indeed, protect all religions; believing that this nation should not sacrifice our troops in wars where no threats to our national security exist and believing strongly that extremists sects, be they religious or not, that threaten and act to do us harm, must be destroyed—this group of Americans have no redeeming values.
Furthermore, he infers under no circumstances should this class of people be allowed to run our government. Do you want San Francisco morality standards mandated as school curriculum(no Bibles or prayers, pro-homosexual driven–I assume he means)?
No, they have no values!
Thanks but no thanks, Mr Studd, I’ll stay a Liberal Democrat and take my chances with God and a duly elected president that represents all Americans and not just a select few.

You do not live in Cannon County and you do not pay taxes in Cannon County and you cannot vote in Cannon County.
Leave Cannon County to the people who have a vested interest in it. You should post your liberal manure on the DNJ since that is where you live, vote and pay taxes at.
You are an instigator who has no other cause other than to start trouble in a place where you don't live and don't care about!

There are those when confronted with opposing wiews, want to deny that opposition the freedom of speech they themselves enjoy.
When you see that, you wonder how far they will go in forcing their narrowmindness on others?
Thank you Courier for allowing the freedom of speech we so dearly cherish!

dailyreader, you must be thinking about the incident last week between NPR and Juan Williams.
October 26, 2010 at 8:52am
dailyreader I don't want to deny you any freedom of speech.
I am more than happy for you to spread your liberal manure in your own town, where you vote and pay taxes at.
What I am against is you bringing your trash into my town, where I was born, where I was raised, where I pay taxes at and where I vote at.
You want nothing more than to spread your lies and bring hatred amongst our citizen when you have no business here or vested interest in anything that goes on here.
You can't vote for Mae Beaver and you can't vote for George McDonald or Mark Pody. Worry about the candidates in your district.
You just simply want to instigate and cause trouble. That is your goal. You offer no solutions and it is getting old.
Stay in Murfreesboro where you belong. Spread your lies there and we will take care of Woodbury just fine.

Kevin Halpern: Williams said what I would have said along with almost all Americans--NPR looked foolish in its P/C--same as Dept of Agriculture did when they jumped the gun.
