Cannon County Sheriff Darrell Young reported the following Sunday, Sept. 16 on his Facebook page:

FIRST POST:

"We are looking for Donald Ray Stacey who has threatened to shoot up the Police Dept., Sheriff's Dept and Kingdom Hall on McMinnville Hwy. There are warrants for his arrest for harassment and filing a false report and more warrants being signed at this time. Anyone that knows his whereabouts are asked to call your local law enforcement agency or our dispatch center at 615-563-4322. He has made threats to shoot officers and is to be considered armed and dangerous towards law enforcement. He said he has a .22, a rifle and a shotgun with him. UPDATE. Subject is in a black Ford Explorer with a temp tag."

SECOND POST:

"Just received a phone call that Donald Ray Stacey has been located and picked up by Van Buren Co. Officers and is in process of being brought back to Cannon County. I want to thank a friend who is a trooper in Van Buren Co. that saw and spoke with Mr. Stacey earlier in the day who had asked him about camping at Fall Creek Falls State Park. He had seen the post on Facebook and called me. With his help and other officers there, they were able to take him into custody without incident. Maybe Facebook really does work. Thank you Ronny."
