Girl Scout Registration Day in Cannon County will take place on Thursday, August 22 at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Dillon Park Stage on Alexander Drive in Woodbury.

Girls and potential Girl Scout leaders are welcome to check it out.  Troops will be performing on stage to make it a fun filled event.

Currently there are six active troops that meet locally; learning and serving with projects like the Great American Clean Up and Girl Scout Give-away.  Service Unit 158 events like World Thinking Day, Bug-O-Ree Camp Out and Pioneer themed overnight camping events bring all the girls together.

Troops also tour department stores, take trips to the circus, zoo, hockey games, and more.

Troops available in our county are Daisy for kindergarten and first grades, Brownies for second and third grades, Juniors for fourth and fifth grades, and Cadettes for sixth through eighth grades. And Seniors for 9th and 10th. Ambassadors are 11th and twelfth grades.

The fee for annual membership is $20. Registration forms will be available at the registration event and flyers will be distributed through the schools.
For more information about our Service Unit 158 contact Mary Alloco, 931-952-8204.
