PrintNASHVILLE – January 24, 2012— USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) today announced that Gene Davidson, State Executive Director for Tennessee FSA and members of his management team have scheduled a public meeting in Cannon County on February 8, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at the Woodbury Lions Club Building, 630 West Lehman Street, Woodbury, TN.
FSA’s public meeting will be the only one held to take public comment on USDA’s proposed office consolidation plan in which the Cannon County FSA office is being considered for consolidation. Producers can also provide written comment by emailing gene.davidson@tn.usda.gov or sending written comment to USDA Farm Service Agency, 579 Federal Building, Nashville, TN 37203, no later than 10 calendar days from the date of this meeting.
All public comments will be taken into full consideration prior to development or implementation of a final consolidation plan.
