MARK VANCE

Cannon County has a new game warden on the job.

Mark Vance, from Haywood County, assumed control of Cannon County after former game warden Brandon “Pete” Geisling moved to Warren County.

Vance says he is working the county enforcing game laws and assisting the public with any questions.

Vance can be reached at 731-697-5225.

As a public safety warning, the rut is fast approaching. Be careful while driving. If you see one deer, always expect another.
