The Cannon County Jr. Lionettes softball team defeated the Westwood Rockets of Coffee County on Monday 7-1.
This was the season opener for the Jr. Lionettes.
The next game will be on Thursday, March 10 against Dekalb County.
The Lionettes are coached by Randy Farnsworth. Assistant Coaches are Tim Sullivan and Ray Elmy.
