Kathy Prater Crouch

Kathy Prater Crouch, 60, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital following an extended illness.

A resident of Smithville, she was a native of Cannon County.

She was preceded in death by her father: Joe L. “Lem” Prater, Brother, Lanny Prater, Sister, Lavada Duggin and grandson, Trace Allan Underhill.

Survivors include:

Mother: Ona Prater of Woodbury.

Daughter: Julie (Ken) Underhill of Smithville.

Son: Alan (Sasha) Crouch of Smithville.

Ex-husband: Wayne Crouch of Rock Island.

Grandchildren: Zackery Lane Underhill, Tyler Wayne Underhill, Samaire Lana Crouch & Dennis Alan Crouch

Brothers:  Dwaine (Reba) Prater and Dale (Alice) Prater both of Woodbury and Jerry (Joyce) Prater of Manchester.

A member of the Church of Christ, she was a secretary at WJLE in Smithville for 19 years.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 01, 2010.

Burial will be in  Leoni Cemetery.

Visitation is  Monday, Nov. 29, from 4 – 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 30 until 9 p.m.
