‘Working Together’ Is Best Solution

I am a democrat and I do not apologize for that fact. I did take offense to the statements by Mr. Matt Studd referring to democrats as living in rebellion of God and passing legislation in rebellion of God.

Do you honestly believe God doesn’t want health care available for everyone without the Health Insurance Companies setting the rules as to who qualifies?

Mr. Studd at the end of the day, when our lives come to an end we will all be judged for how we have lived, but it won’t be by you.

I listen to both sides, republicans and democrats and even the ramblings of the tea party.

The only message that comes through loud and clear is the goal of the republicans to defeat any ideas the democrats present and make sure President Obama is a one term president.

I do not hear any plans on the republican agenda regarding improving the economy, revisiting NAFTA and bringing jobs back to America, dealing with the greed within Corporate America which led to bail-outs, ending the wars and bringing our service men and women home plus numerous issues our leaders should be working together to solve.

The key words are  “WORKING TOGETHER”, solve the problems, name calling and placing the blame will not get the job done.  The American People vote and send politicians to Washington to work together in our best interest and we deserve you best efforts to keep American strong.

Well written and I'm in full agreement. Mr Studd should try working together to fix a problem. The Bush administration sure couldn't fix one, they continued to create them for our country. Now you have the right saying the same about Obama's, so let's try working togehter, because its apparent no one can solve anything on their own. Break down the barrier between the aisle's!

Thoughful letter and I agree with all.
Some, not all, Republicans and a great many of those with Tea Party backing have already gone on record that there will be no compromising with Democrats--no working together for the best interests of all.
Look for two rancorous years--no gray areas, all black and white.

Then it will be no different than the last two years, dailyreader, when Democrats crafted their own bills, refused to take ideas and amendments from Republicans, and then rammed them through. All black and white — their way or the highway.

There will be no peace or working together while humans still walk the earth. The Federal government's and Democratic Party's next two years will be rancorous, vitriolic, inept, impotent, and riddled with corruption...on its' BEST days. Then a Republican will be elected President and no appreciable difference will occur. The time of people working together has ended and will not return within our lifetimes.

I agree with you totally wichita!

Everyone wants to talk about working together. Everyone wants to complain because the other side won't work with them and both Democrats and Republicans are to blame.

Just like many people who comment on this site (one in particular), everyone wants to complain and no one brings any solutions.

If you are not part of solution, you are part of the problem.

Proverbs, Chapter: 3, Verse: 5. ... Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. .
