Spring I think is finally upon us. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Pink and white dogwood trees are still in full bloom at Aubrey's mom and dad's place. I'm not ruling out any more cool weather but surely the warmer days will start to stick around longer. The insects that are out and about are thriving very well all around here so I think they're on to something.

Happy to see several gobblers back today in that field near the mountain. Seems like they love to be in that rain that has been falling since noon. I counted 8 of them roaming around. The rain has stopped my outside work for the day as it is only going to intensify in coverage late this evening. Weather for the week to be getting a whole lot better after Tuesday.

Mai Nell Melton at church last Sunday and also Charlie Mai Daniel. Mai Nell said Carlon still not doing well. Carlon is back home after a stay in the hospital. Keep him in prayer and also Charlie Mai.
Let's also keep these people on our prayer list: Donna Lawson, Denise Stanton, Edith Miller, Fay Pitts, Ruth Brown and the family of Macon Wade.

Votes are in and counted from the meeting to decide the leader of the 'little green men' and the invisible cow. At the central election office headquarters results from all that heavy voter turn out were carefully tabulated and the winner was announced at midnight when the lights suddenly came back on. Clyde won but by only a slight margin. Bobby is protesting the whole matter and wants a recount with the lights on this time.

Been thinking just how did this country got into such a mess with so much stuff being pushed down our throats that go against God's holy word. Did you ever think God and prayer would be taken out of our schools or the Ten Commandments would be taken down in so many places? We have been too complacent and have not stood up as Christians to turn back all of this evil that is trying to overtake us. Aubrey always said America would destroy itself from within. Appears to me that he was right, because of what is going on all over this nation. The "founding Fathers" would turn over in their graves at the disgraceful way this country is being run. We have no leadership in Washington DC period. When you go along with people that are opposite of God and join in their celebrations of ungodliness that tells me all I need to know about you so please don't confess to being a Christian 'cause I'm not believing you. By your actions, you are known. One day and it may be a day closer than you think "all" will have to give an account of how they chose to live their life here. God will open His book where everything about you He has written down. Laughter from those who thought they knew it all will be gone and fear they will certainly understand and feel then, but alas only themselves can they blame for their being cast into the lake of fire where their pain and agony will never, but never, end. We have the freedom of choice to accept Jesus or reject Him. It is that simple. The decision you make will take you to heaven or hell.
