One more beautiful Saturday morning up here on the mountain with the absolutely gorgeous sunshine beaming down instead of the previous few days a cloudiness and scattered showers we have been having. Randy and Gail I noticed getting an early start this morning to do some horseback riding today.

Whatever you have a passion for just get out there and enjoy the day doing it. I guess I am saying just what are you waiting for when you have the opportunity to have such enjoyment and fulfillment added to your life? My passions are loving and doing for Jesus, enjoying my family, and tending to my flowers, and also mowing the yards and trying to be a help to others wherever I may go, and all in that order. A simple country girl at heart for sure (sometimes a redneck) but that's okay as I let the Lord guide my footsteps and ask HIM to keep HIS hand upon me each and everyday as no one impresses me - only Jesus.

So thankful, of course, for the wonderful, loving, and supportive people HE has put around me to help me get through so much and uplift me in prayer daily as we all certainly need prayer. This girl knows how she has been blessed and how she is being taken care of. My life was so turned around - praying it wouldn't turn out as it did for Aubrey, yet now I know God had another plan (a Master's plan) for our "big guy" - and also a plan for me to be strong and carry on what the Lord knows in my heart I want to do for HIM. So you can say when my voice and my footsteps are not heard here anymore, do not shed a tear as I will be where I've dreamed of being for so long walking with Jesus and that Aubrey and all of my loved ones in heaven where everything is PERFECT and so grand - no one hurting there - and no tears falling - only happiness for all of eternity. After accepting Jesus, this is just a fact that is down deep inside of you and you can honestly say that (you know that you know) this will be the way it's going to be because HIS word is the only truth there is. So glad Aubrey and I got it right with Jesus. Sure wish others would just give HIM a try.

Talk about a different way of talking - a different way of walking - peace beyond anything you can imagine as you will never be the same again. So easy to get to know HIM - just ask him to forgive you of your sins. If you are sincere, you WILL know you have been forgiven and oh the joy and happiness you will have never experienced before. You will only want to live for Jesus then! This girl has been where you're at - was so miserable knowing I was missing something in my life - that something was Jesus, of course. Though of what I would be giving up to accept HIM - that is the hold that sin can have on us to hold us back from accepting Jesus. For me, if offered this world and all the riches, material things laid at my feet - it would simply fall short because it is like that gospel song when Jesus is all that I have - HE's all that I need!

Aubrey's Aunt Nornia Willard, a dear precious lady, passed away Saturday, June 7th. She was 89 years old. She always called Aubrey her buddy. Such a strong woman who dedicated her life to the Lord and to her family. She had it rough in the mountains of East Tennessee but she prevailed to have raised some wonderful children.
Was happy to see Charlie Mai Daniel at church Sunday as she is doing better. Missing Carlon and Mai Nell Melton there but hopefully they will be back at church before too long. Do keep them in prayer. Also, Edith Miller, Donna Lawson, Clyde Nokes, and Bobby Taylor need prayer.

Just a passing note, the weather is really getting a lot hotter now, so be careful and don't get carried away working outside for too long a time. Keep water close at hand - and try to do the outside work when it is cooler in the morning or the evening hours.
