Monday, April 28th, turned out to be quite a memorable day as two of our favorite sons here on the mountain had terrible things happen to them. First in the day Bobby Taylor had a heart attack but hopefully he is going to be okay. Later on in the day Clyde Nokes fell and broke his right arm at the elbow. Joked with Clyde asking him if a little green man was after him when he fell. Keep them both in prayer as they recover.

Sitting on Aubrey's mom and dad's porch this past Saturday relaxing in one of the rocking chairs and enjoying the spectacular view of the mountain. Had to rest a while from doing some yard work over there. Still got a lot to do to clean up after the winter we've had but it sure is looking a whole lot better.

Mai Nell Melton got to be at church Sunday. Carlon you were missed and sure hope you get to feeling better real soon. Our prayers go out to you.

Please keep Nornia Willard (Aubrey's aunt) in prayer as she is not doing so well at this time. Diane Evans, Edith Miller, Jeff Brown, Steve Stanley and family, and Janice Bratcher and family, also need your prayers.

Talked with Wayne Gunter and Betty Gunter Sunday and they and their families are doing fine.

This is the time of year we have to think about stormy weather and tornadoes. Yesterday out west in Arkansas and some other states several people killed in the tornadoes that came through there. So terrible for those people going through such horrible tragedies. Please pray for them as they try to put their lives back to some kind of normalcy.

Was watching a favorite television show of mine "In the Heat of the Night" the other evening. Aubrey and I both liked the show. In the show, this girl jumped off a bridge at night and drowned. The next day her body was found. There was a man there that saw this car leave the scene that night. He was telling the deputy what he had seen and the officer asked him if he could remember anything else. The guy said something and then he said I didn't see any little green men either. At that statement, this girl really perked up and could hardly believe what my ears had just heard. Now this show went back several years ago for sure. Proves maybe this theory about the little green aliens existence even back then and also before that as I was growing up that I told you about. This is food for thought. Told Sister Fay the next morning about this and she asked me if I had written the script for the show? I told her no, as I only have become famous as of late (just joking) but in the back of my mind I am thinking wouldn't this be something to base a series or book on?

The possibilities are endless I foresee so I guess I need to get writing on the little green guys right away. Don't you? Could be mega rich in no time since I have so much data on tem. Never have seen one of the little green men but others supposedly have including Clyde. Some exaggeration on my part about them will have to be added, but that will be okay as that is what makes a book or a series sell I have been told.

Some little visitors reaming around on our patio this morning. Three very pretty furry cats that are my neighbors making themselves right at home out there. This is quite fine as I love cats very much. Do not have a cat so I guess I will just claim them for the time being while they are here. They are quite spoiled so I get to pet them a lot. The only cat I have is on my baker's rack on the patio and I've had it for years and it is a fat cat from Lillian Vernon that I got probably fifteen years ago. I had found two little fat kittens that I spray painted to match the big black fat cat. They are a good looking family of cats.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon HIS name; make known HIS deeds among the peoples. Sing to HIM, sing psalms to HIM, talk of all HIS wondrous works. Glory in HIS holy name.
Psalm 105:1-3
