Biggest Loser contestant Antone Davis has been a man on a mission since his appearance on NBC’s popular reality show last fall.  His mission brings him to Manchester Tuesday, March 6th at 5 and 7 p.m.   The 44 year old former UT and NFL football player will be making an appearance at New Life Ministeries, 2081 Hillsboro Blvd., in Manchester.

“We look forward to bringing Antone to Coffee County,” said Joe McKamey, Business Manager at the pharmacy.  “His visit will reinforce our Lose-to-Win message that losing weight is possible for everyone.  Space is limited, so those interested in meeting  and hearing Antone are encouraged to purchase their tickets by logging onto www.marcromspharmacy.com or stopping by the pharmacy on McArthur Street.”

McKamey had an opportunity to visit with Young last week and came away impressed.

“Prior to his stint on The Biggest Loser, Antone was in a place in his life that was not what he  had envisioned.   He was 44 years old and 447 pounds and suffering from high cholesterol and high blood pressure.    Feeling like he was slowly dying and not doing anything to help himself, Antone auditioned for The Biggest Loser so he could finally lose the weight and live a long, healthy life with his family.    He lost over 200 pounds and is committed to daily, routine lifestyle changes to maintain his health.”

“There are many, many fans of The Biggest Loser in the area.  We invite all to come out and hear  Antone’s behind-the-scenes stories of  his time on the show.   I’m confident he’ll talk about the workouts with the show’s trainers and what it’s like to have TV cameras around you 24 hours a day.  There is much speculation about what goes on behind-the-scenes, but Antone can help fill in some gaps of our knowledge of the show.”

As part of Davis’s visit to Coffee County he will be interviewed on WMSR radio 1320 AM at 4 p.m. on the 6th.    At 5 p.m. Antone will lead a Biggest Loser style workout at the church for only $10.    Then at 7 p.m. he will provide a motivational talk and tips that will help members of the audience in their weight-loss journey.   Tickets for the 7 p.m. talk are $15.     For those interested in both the 5 p.m. workout and the 7 p.m. talk, tickets are only $20.   Student  discounts are available as well.    Davis will have signed Biggest Loser memorabilia available as well.  Tickets are available at the door or by logging onto www.marcromspharmacy.com
